The tools on this site are free to use for research. You may use what you find here to run your own shop, including commercially.
The free allowance is a fixed number of runs per day per network address, counted separately for each tool and shown on the tool itself as you use it. The leaderboards and reference tools are cached and have no daily limit at all. Please do not try to work around the allowance with automated requests — it is a small service, and the allowance is what keeps it open to everyone.
The allowance may change as the tools do. The number shown on a tool is the one that applies to it.
Short version: use it like a person doing research, not like a pipeline.
Please do not scrape the tools or the guides, rotate addresses or proxies to defeat the daily allowance, resell access to the tools, or present their output as your own product or dataset. Do not attempt to reach the upstream services the tools call except through this site.
These are not empty clauses. The free tier exists because a small number of requests per visitor is affordable; automated volume is what forces a service like this to close its doors or put a card wall in front of everything.
You keep whatever rights you had in an image you upload; using a studio tool grants us nothing beyond what is needed to process that one request. Upload work you own or have licensed — a tool will not check, and a trademark claim costs sellers their shops rather than their listings.
Processing is done by a third-party model provider, so your image is sent to them. What we store, for how long, and what leaves your browser is set out on the privacy page.
What a model produces is yours to use, and it is also yours to check. We make no claim that a generated design is free of anyone else's rights, and we cannot tell you whether an output resembles an existing work, a character or a registered mark. That check is yours to make before a design goes on a product, and it is the one that decides whether a listing survives.
Sales, views, favourites and revenue are measurements derived from observed marketplace activity. They are a sound basis for comparing one term or shop with another.
They are not audited accounts, they are not supplied by Etsy, and they should not be relied on as a statement of any seller's actual revenue. Etsy is not affiliated with this site.
Fees, rates and marketplace rules quoted in the tools and guides carry the date they were checked. Marketplaces change them without notice, so confirm anything you are about to price a whole catalogue on against the marketplace's own current fee page.
Research improves the odds. It does not promise sales. Nothing on this site is financial, tax or legal advice, and decisions you make with it remain yours.
The tools are provided as they are, without warranty. We aim to keep them accurate and available and we fix reported errors quickly — a wrong number is the bug we most want to hear about, through the contact page — but we do not guarantee that a tool will be available, that a figure will be current, or that an upstream service will answer. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for losses arising from use of the site, including a pricing or listing decision taken on a figure you read here.
